Gelliflex® was a proud sponsor at this year's 12th Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic benefitting the George Lopez Foundation.
Hollywood stars joined comedic actor, George Lopez in Toluca Lake, California on May 5 and 6 to help raise awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. The sold-out event kicked off with an auction followed by the charity golf tournament.
Five lucky golfers from the winning team received placement prizes which included the Gelliflex Abacus among other luxury items. After a long day on the golf course, the Abacus is the perfect device to help relieve golfers' common pains.
For the auction, the Gelliflex Abacus was part of a "Better Your Body Bundle" self-care package.
"I am thankful for the kidney transplant I received in 2005, which has allowed me to pursue my two passions – playing golf and giving back to others less fortunate," Lopez said.
The funds raised from the event will help send over 250 children with kidney disease to summer and fall camp for a week they'll never forget.
